Jeonbuk State has ushered in a new era with the launch of the Yi Won-taek administration for the 9th elected term, putting 'a government where the residents are the owners' as its core value.

 

All programs, including the presentation of appointment letters to residents, dialogues with residents, and the declaration to practice a resident-sovereign government, were designed around the residents to symbolically represent the philosophy of the 9th elected provincial administration.

 

The ‘Declaration to Practice a Resident-Sovereign Government‘ announced on this day includes the operating principles of the 9th elected administration, which takes the residents’ voices as the starting point of governance and aims to create tangible change based on communication, participation, integrity, and accountability.

 

 

Yi Won-taek, Governor of Jeonbuk State, said, “A resident-sovereign government begins with the voices of the residents and is completed together with them. We will cherish the voice of each individual resident and create a government that responds through action rather than words.

 

He continued, “We will definitely build Jeonbuk as a place where the livelihood economy recovers, future industries grow, youth stay, and everyone grows together. Through changes that improve residents’ lives, we will realize a proud Jeonbuk State and vigorously open a new future of Jeonbuk together with the residents.
