Even though COVID-19 Crisis is Worried, Jeollabuk-do Exchanges with Vietnam well
Jeollabuk-do will start an on-line train on the object of the officials working at the agricultural area of Dak Rak Province, Vietnam, one of the friendly districts with Korea for 4 weeks from 22th to 12th, next month. This train is one of Jeollabuk-do invitation projects on the object of the persons concerned on overseas district governments. It is the 3rd train from 2018 on the object of Dak Rak Province, Vietnam by Jeollabuk-do Jeollabuk-do makes progress of this train by on-line lecture, considering on the special status of COVID-19. This project focuses on the area of agriculture, a common concernment of Dak Rak Province and Jeollabuk-do, laying emphasis on theories and field train. Under the positive cooperation of Jeollabuk-do - Vietnam Friendship Promotion Council which works actively for civil exchange between Jeollabuk-do and Vietnam, The professors working in Jeonbuk Agricultural Research & Extension Services and in International Agricultural Development and Cooperation Center will lecture theories, and businesses will train field experiences. Han Min-hi, director of External Relations Division, revealed a will, "Vietnam is an attractive country for exchange, so I will respond to the demand of the exchange between Jeollabuk-do inhabitants and Vietnam so that they can search and push ahead with projects without a problem due to COVID-19." -
Jeollabuk-do Focuses on Developing Non-face-to-face Vietnamese Marketing Route for Agricultural and Fishery Food Products
Hold On-line Video Export Consultation Meeting, Inviting Influential Vietnamese Buyers On 16th, Jeollabuk-do held an on-line video export consultation meeting together with Jeonbuk Institute for Food-Bioindustry (hereafter, JIFB), inviting Vietnamese agricultural and fishery food products buyers Jeollabuk-do pushed ahead with the export consultation meeting to minimize the overseas export vacuum of agricultural food businesses in Jeollabuk-do due to COVID-19, to offer the opportunity of developing overseas marketing route, and to enhance businesses' export competitiveness. Vietnam increases the preference of Korean food continuously. Korea is the fifth largest exporter to Vietnam, a major market, where Jeollabuk-do exports 9.8% of agricultural and fishery food products. Thanks to the high economic growth rate and the Korean Wave, recently, Jeollabuk-do is rising as a new market which exports agricultural and fishery food products. Jeollabuk-do and JIFB intend to support the advance to Vietnamese markets by linking with new southern policy of the government. So, in advance, they found excellent agricultural food buyers of the field and offered Jeonbuk agricultural food catalogues.
