The Korea Festival Expo, a specialized trade fair featuring local governments and tourism-related organizations from across the country, serves as a venue for fierce competition in content, centered around representative regional festivals and tourism resources.

 

For this event, the province has set 'increasing tourism inflows through festivals' as its core strategy, conducting integrated promotion that links representative tourist destinations and seasonal festivals across its 14 cities and counties. In particular, the province plans to go beyond simple information delivery by strengthening participatory content, naturally stimulating interest in Jeonbuk tourism and the desire to visit among attendees at the venue.

 

In addition, the province plans to operate joint events that highlight the unique characteristics of each city and county, aiming to present the charm of Jeonbuk's tourism resources in a multi-dimensional way and further increase visitor engagement.

 

Sin Won-sik, Director-General of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of Jeonbuk State, stated, 'The Korea Festival Expo is a vital opportunity to showcase our regional tourism competitiveness centered around local festivals,' adding, 'We will actively promote Jeonbuk's unique festivals and tourism content to translate interest into actual visits.

 

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk State plans to continue expanding its tourism promotion efforts by participating in a series of domestic and international trade fairs, including 'All That Travel 2026' in late April and the 'Korea Travel Expo' in Taipei, Taiwan, this May.
