Jeonbuk State announced that it established the 'Jeonbuk Mental Counseling Center for Women with Infertility and Pregnant Women' at Jeonju Jesus Hospital to ensure that residents can prepare for pregnancy and childbirth with peace of mind.

 

Professional personnel conduct one-on-one personalized counseling, select and examine pregnant women with depression, and run group programs and self-help meetings to help psychological recovery from pregnancy to the beginning of post-natal parenting.

 

In particular, the center collaborates with Jesus Hospital, a specialized medical institution for infertility, to provide medical support and psychological counseling. In addition, the center will initially find high -risk pregnant women and strengthen customized support to effectively reduce the difficulties in pregnancy and childbirth.

 

Jeonbuk State is expanding customized support from the early stages of infertility to address the significant issue of low birth rates. This includes:

▲ Traditional Korean medicine for infertility treatment

▲ Support for infertility diagnostic tests

▲ Pre-pregnancy health management

▲ Additionally, efforts are being made to establish a safety net by providing medical cost support for high-risk pregnant women and teenage mothers, as well as

▲ transportation cost support for pregnant women in vulnerable areas.
