□ Begin Full-scale 2036 Jeonju Summer Paralympics Hosting Plan
On March 28, the State signed a contract for the "Establishment of the 2036 Jeonju Summer Paralympic Games Hosting Plan," preparing to ensure that the Paralympics can be recognized not as a mere ancillary event but as an independent international sports festival.
Jeonbuk State plans to integrate the Olympics and Paralympics into a cohesive system to ensure both efficiency and symbolism.

Jeonbuk State Governor Kim Kwan-young visited the International Olympic Committee (IOC) headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 8 April and held official meetings with IOC President Thomas Bach and Future Attraction Commissioner Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic.
