Jeonbuk State has stepped up efforts to strengthen the cooperation system with cities and counties on key childcare issues

 

On the 14th, the state office held a meeting between the state and childcare officials from each city and county to promote childcare projects.

 

At the meeting that day, discussions were held on childcare issues including ▲ the operation of special exceptions for the dissolution of social welfare corporations running daycare centers and the system for changing designated purposes, ▲ the establishment and operation of childcare activity protection centers in cities and counties, and ▲ the support system for childcare fees for foreign children as well as plans to assist parental contributions.

 

The province plans to proactively respond to changes in the childcare environment and, based on close cooperation between the state and cities and counties, continuously reflect field opinions in policies to promote childcare policies that infants, parents, and childcare workers can truly feel.

 

Additionally, regarding ongoing issues such as the childcare fee support system for foreign children and parental contribution support plans, opinions from cities and counties were gathered, regional 운영 사례 were shared, and ways to improve policy effectiveness were explored.

 

Yang Soo-mi, Director of the Social Welfare Policy Division of Jeonbuk State, said, “Since the success of childcare policies is decided on the ground, close cooperation between the state and cities and counties is more important than anything else. We will continue to communicate closely with cities and counties to solve difficulties in childcare sites together and do our best to create a childcare environment that infants and parents can trust.”
