Nationwide Tour Pass Partners with China’s “Hanyou Network” for Sales... Strengthening the foundation for attracting inbound tourists

On the 12th, Jeonbuk State announced that it has listed the flagship tourism product, the “Jeonbuk Tour Pass,” on “Hanyouwang(韩游网),”China’s largest platform for Korea travel information and has begun full-scale sales starting this month.
This partnership was promoted to target the rapidly increasing number of Chinese independent travelers(FITs), embrace the accessibility of Jeonbuk’s tourism products, and expand overseas online sales channels.
Hanyouwang is a major online platform in China that provides information on travel to Korea and offers tourism products. Through this partnership, popular tourism products among foreign visitors-such as the integrated Jeonbuk Tour Pass, the Jeonju Hanok Village pass, and individual passes for Gyeonggijeon Shrine and Gwanghalluwon Garden-will be sold locally.
The provincial government expects that this sale partnership will help generate new tourism demand and also contribute to extending visitors’ length of stay in the region through the use of the Jeonbuk Tour Pass.
Shin Won-sik, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Jeonbuk State, said, “Expanding overseas channels for the Jeonbuk Tour Pass is an important foundation for attracting international tourists and promoting longer-stay tourism. We will continue to expand cooperation with global online platforms to enhance the international competitiveness of Jeonbuk tourism.”
