The Jeonbuk State is continuing stable management by significantly increasing the number of foreign seasonal workers while keeping the attrition rate below 1%.
Jeonbuk State is increasing the reliability and retention rate of its workforce by increasing the proportion of local selection from countries that signed the MOU.
Jeonbuk State is also creating a residential environment to improve the living conditions of workers. Starting from 2022, a project to build new dormitories for foreign seasonal workers is being expanded to a total of 10 locations (4 completed, 6 in progress), including 2 locations in 2022, 3 locations in 2023, 2 locations in 2024, and 3 locations in 2025.
Jeonbuk State is also continuously expanding training to protect workers' human rights and ensure safety.
On-site training specifically for workers themselves has also been strengthened. This is positively impacting not only the enhancement of on-site crisis response capabilities but also the improvement of their stability in their settlement.
Jeonbuk State is operating workshops for rural manpower intermediary centers and city/county officials to share achievements and tasks. In addition, it has prepared a Jeonbuk historical and cultural exploration program for foreign workers to enhance their understanding of the region, and to strengthen their emotional stability and sense of belonging.
