Jeonbuk State will enter into international exchange with the ASEAN region in full cooperation with the Korean, Asean Center and Jeonju-si.

 

On the 21st, Jeonbuk State signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea, Asean Center and Jeonju-si and decided to establish a cooperation network to revitalize trade, investment, tourism and human exchange. The Agreement was promoted to establish an institutional foundation for Jeonbuk and Jeonju to become global cultural and sports hubs and to further strengthen exchanges with Asean.

 

In accordance with the agreement, the three institutions have pledged to ▲jointly promote cultural and tourism exchange programs ▲promote Jeonbuk priority cooperation of projects organized by the Korean, Asean Centers , and ▲Jointly support necessary projects. In particular, in 2026, the ASEAN Hall will be opened at the Jeonbuk Korean Traditional Culture Hall, and a new Asean cultural exchange base will be established in our region.

 

In the future, Jeonbuk State plans to actively explore Asean joint projects with the Jeonbuk International Cooperation Promotion Agency, and to grow into a hub of East Asian exchange through attracting cultural and tourism forums and international events.
