Jeonbuk state has opened an ‘online proposal window for Visa Policy’ to help foreigners settle and inflow.

 

The intention is to induce policy improvements by reflecting the voices of local businesses and international students in the foreigner-related systems that have been communicated unilaterally until now.

 

This window has been established as a separate menu within the existing 'Jeonbuk Small and Medium Business Support System (www.jbok.kr)' and the 'Jeonbuk Foreign Portal (www.myjb.or.kr)'.

 

Anyone can click on the 'Visa Improvement Idea Proposal' on the website and freely submit their name, contact information, background of the proposal, and suggested improvements.

 

Jeonbuk State plans to conduct on-site investigations and analysis of the proposals received, and then make official recommendations to the Ministry of Justice to improve the system. In particular, the Foreigners' International Policy Division will be directly in charge of proposals related to work visas, while study abroad, seasonal work, and multiculturalism will be handled through a collaborative system with related departments. In addition, if the proposal is submitted to the Ministry of Justice's deliberative committee after investigation, the proponent will be notified of the deliberation results and the outcome of the guideline revision.
