Jeonbuk State Autonomous Police Committee has conducted joint patrols to enhance foreigner crime prevention and public safety activities.

 

Especially, on this day, the patrol activities included a meeting to encourage the efforts of foreigner volunteer crime prevention unit members who have been at the forefront of local safety initiatives and to facilitate communication on public safety issues, adding more significance to the event.

 

Jeonbuk Autonomous Police Committee Chairperson Lee Yeon-joo stated, "I would like to express my gratitude to the foreigner volunteer crime prevention unit members who, despite working for a living in a foreign country, dedicate their time even on holidays to help prevent crime and maintain public safety."

 

The chairperson added, "We will do our utmost to promote public safety policies that are truly felt by the residents by communicating with foreigner residents and alleviating their concerns about crime, in line with the growing trend of an increasing foreigner resident population."

 

 

"On the other hand, the province's only foreigner autonomous crime prevention unit consists of 18 members from six countries. Established in December 2014, it has been leading local crime prevention activities, including nighttime patrols on holidays."
