Jeollabuk-do Comforts Sir Lee Seokkyu the Sole Patriot alive in Jeollabuk-do

 

In commemoration of the 104th anniversary of 3.1 Independence Movement Day, on 23rd, Jeollabuk-do comforted sir Lee Seokkyu the sole patriot alive in Jeollabuk-do.

 

Lee Songhi director-general of Welfare and Women's Health Bureau of Jeollabuk-do and (Lee Gangan branch chief) of Jeollabuk-do Branch of Restoration Society made progress of the visit. They gave incentives and care packages, expressing thanks to the patriot alive.

 

Lee Seokkyu patriot groaned in prison on charge of organizing reading circle and joining in the independence movement including making independence declaration and Korean frag. The patriot was awarded a presidential citation in 2010.

 

Lee Songhi director-general of Welfare and Women's Health said, "The country naturally has to treat independence patriots contributing to independence and the breaved respectfully and properly. In the future, I will push up with the policies for life stablilty and welfare improvement of national meritorious persons continuously.
