Jeollabuk-do Starts the Object of District- Specialized Visa Project in a Large Scale

 

Jeollabuk-do starts ‘District-Specialized Visa Demonstration Project’ in a large scale from this month.

 

‘District-Specialized Visa Demonstration Project Carried by the Ministry of Justice’ is a project by which visa favor is offered to excellent foreigner talents so that the ministry can expand living population, promote economic activity, and come true circular structure of population inflow. In Jeollabuk-do, Jeongeup, Namwon, and Gimje were selected in September, last year, and Sunchang, Gochang, and Buan were selected in December for public participation.

 

The objects are excellent foreigner talents recommended by universities located at Jeollabuk-do , and they have to prepare basic requirements asked by the Ministry of Justice such as Korean language ability and specialized requirements such as employment (expected person) permitted by districts .

 

In addition, under the condition of mandatory residence and employment at the district where the policy is carried out for a certain period, the objects can change stay qualification by F-2 visa at Jeonju Immigration Office after getting recommendations from Jeollabuk-do Governor.
