7 Tourist Attractions of Jeonbuk Selected as 100 Korean Tourist Attractions

 

Gochang Dolmen Ungok Wetland Village, Iksan Wanggung -ri Remains, Gunsan Gogunsan Archipelago, Muju Firefly Land and Taekwondowon, Jeongup Naejangsan National Park, Jinan Maisan Provincial Park, and Jeonju Hanok Village were selected as ‘100 Korean Tourist Attractions’ by Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Korea Tourism Organization.

 

‘100 Korean Tourist Attractions’ is a representative project of Ministry of Culture and Sports; the ministry selects 100 representative tourist attractions a time every two years, the attractions that foreigners as well as Koreans want to visit without fail.

 

Especially, Jinan Maisan Mountain is composed of two unique summits such as Female Mai Summit (687.4m) and Male Mai Summit (681.1m). It is an attraction which won three stars by Michelin Green Guide a tour guide book of France. Maisan Pagoda Temple was selected as ‘the most beautiful Korean 33 temples’ selected by CNN Broadcasting Station of the USA in 2002.
