A Concern for the Issue if Exchange and Collaboration related to Public Diplomat between Jeollabuk-do and the UK will be Expanded

 

A Concern is focused for the issue if Jeonbuk's public diplomat will be expanded to the UK.

 

Jeollabuk-do announced that on 5th the people concerned on the embassy such as Colin Crooks the UK ambassador to Korea etc. came to Jeonbuk, visited Kim Kwan-young governor, and discussed on Saemangeum Jamboree Meeting expected to be held in August and on various exchange and collaboration policies concerning on post-Jamboree youth, culture, and economic areas between the two districts.

 

About 43,000 youths from 152 countries will participate in 2023 World Jamboree, the largest scale international event held in our country after COVID-19, expected to be held at Saemangeum in August. The UK will send the most participants of 4,465 persons.

 

Governor Kim himself explained meeting preparation status to ambassador Crooks, and demanded to participate in Saemangeum Jamboree Explanation Meeting executed over the chiefs of diplomatic missions held on July 6th to Korea hosted by Jeollabuk-do.
