Publicize Jeonbuk Agricultural Foods at LA Korean Festival and Arirang Festival

 

Jeollabuk-do and Jeonbuk Institute for Food-Bioindustry announced that 23 agricultural and fishing food companies located in Jeollabuk-do participated in LA Korean Festival Agricultural and Fishing EXPO, and Orange County Arirang Festival, and that they accomplished 450,000 dollar sales at the field and 900,000 dollar exportation counselling.

 

The 23 companies (about 48 items) located at Jeollabuk-do which participated in this events exhibited and sold kimchi, powdered pepper, sesame oil, health juice, salted and pickled food, red ginseng processed products, seonsik, chueotang, nurungji, rice, ramyeon etc.

 

The visitors who came to Jeonbuk Publication Hall responded to Korean agricultural and fishing foods greatly. Especially, they showed a great popularity in fermented condiments, nurungji, chueotang, semilaevis, and seasoned crab. Jeonbuk Publication Hall won so great accomplishment as to sell five products at the site, amounting to $220,000.

 

Separate from it, about 20 counselings were made with the field distribution buyers. F company which manufactures frozen agricultural products, teokbokki discussed on a sample exportaition, amouting to $100,000. They will be exported at the early period of the next year.
