Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. invests at Gochang to Construct a Smart Hub Complex (Temporary Name)

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will invest 300 billion won at Gochang Revitalization Industrial Complex and construct a large-scale distribution center in Honam Area.

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. establishes a large scale business site by investing at Jeollabuk-do for the first time. This is the first case of a large-scale investment (excluding tourism) more than 200 billion won at the area other than Saemangeum in the 8th popular election.

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will make progress of preliminary procedures to design construction and get an approval and permission in this year. The company will start construction in ’24 and push up with completion in ’26.

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will invest a total of 300 billion won to construct the distribution center and create direct, indirect employment for about 500 human resources.
