Jeonbuk State Discusses Minimizing Medical Vacancies with General Hospitals in the State
Jeonbuk State discussed solution to cooperate with general hospitals in the state to minimize the medical vacancies due to medical groups' actions.
Jeonbuk State Governor Kim Kwan-young heard about the on-site situation of each medical institution from 13 representatives from senior general hospitals and general hospitals in the state, including Chonbuk National University Hospital and Wonkwang University Hospital, and discussed emergency medical measures to minimize inconvenience to residents.
Before starting the meeting, Governor Kim expressed his gratitude, saying, "Although there was a medical gap due to the residents' absence, I thank the medical staff of the three training hospitals in the state, Chonbuk National University Hospital, Wonkwang University Hospital and Jesus Hospital, who work hard and do their best in treating patients."
Governor Kim thanked the medical staff at Gunsan Medical Center and Namwon Medical Center, who extended their medical hours to minimize the medical vacancies among state residents, and said, "I ask them to overcome the difficult reality and be more faithful to the role of public hospitals."
