Jeonbuk State announced that it will officially launch the 'Integrated Financial and Welfare Support Service Project' starting on the 4th, with the aim of contributing to the financial stability and establishment of economic self-reliance for the financially vulnerable.

On September 1st, Jeonbuk State signed an 'Agreement on Establishing a Collaborative System for Integrated Financial and Welfare Support' with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) for this service project, making it the third area in the nation, after Busan and Gwangju, to do so. Preparations for this collaborative system have included operating the 'visiting financial counseling centers' and conducting mutual training for staff between the relevant agencies.

Jeonbuk State has already finalized discussions with the Financial Services Commission, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service (CCRS), and the Jeonbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation. The 'Visiting Financial Counseling Center' will launch in Buan-gun on the 4th and will be operated sequentially and on a trial basis at Jeonbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation branch offices in other cities and counties: Namwon (11/12), Jinan (11/14), Gochang (11/18), Gimje (11/19), Jeongeup (11/24), and Wanju (11/26). For example, residents in cities and counties without an Inclusive Finance Support Center can directly receive inclusive financial services on-site, such as small loans and debt restructuring.

Jeonbuk State will also concurrently implement cross-training for staff between agencies. On October 21st, instructors from the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency and the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service provided inclusive finance training to 25 social welfare officers in Buan-gun. The province plans to expand this training continuously throughout the year, reflecting future demand.
