Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will produce the second BTS and BLACKPINK

Through special cases based on Article 42* of the amendment to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Act, a garden has been established to establish an international K-pop school where K-pop can be learned in the public education system for the first time in the country and to cultivate a large number of K-pop professionals.

Article 42 (Establishment of International K-Pop International School) ① In order to foster and develop the K-pop industry, an international K-pop school aimed at fostering international K-pop professionals in Jeonbuk Self-Governing Province may be established and operated.

② International K-pop schools under paragraph 1 shall be foreign schools under Article 60-2 of 「Elementary and Secondary Education Act」.

③ Jeonbuk Self-Governing Province may provide funds necessary for the purchase of sites, the construction of facilities, or the operation of schools or provide sites to international K-pop schools under paragraph 1, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.

After the processes are completed, Jeollabuk-do will obtain the effectiveness of attracting foreign students overseas, grow as a bridgehead by which it can export K-culture overseas in a large scale, and directly and indirectly enhance the recognition of Jeonbuk Self-governing Province in the world effectively greatly.
