On the 8th, Jeonbuk State held a report on ‘the establishment of the basic plan for the Jeonju Summer Olympics and Paralympics and the response services to the selection of IOC host cities’and said it would speed up the development of differentiation strategies for attracting the Olympics.

The service will be held until February 2026, focusing on the strategy of attracting the Olympic Games, establishing a basic plan for the Summer Olympics and Paralympic Games, preparing the government and IOC screening data, and producing data on game facility. non-game facility.

The service will be carried out by 'Monoplane Co., Ltd.', an officially registered international sports event company as an IOC consultant. This company specializes in consulting for the acquisition, operation, and marketing of international sports events.

At the briefing session that day, key strategies and concepts for attracting the event to Jeonju were intensively discussed. The focus was on establishing a differentiated approach by analyzing IOC regulations, international hosting trends, and case studies of competing cities to highlight Jeonbuk’s unique strengths.

Especially, as a way to enhance the international status of Jeonju, which has relatively low recognition, a brand strategy linked to the global spread potential of K-Culture has been proposed. This strategy aims to raise the perception of Jeonju as the spiritual home of K-Culture by linking it to globally recognized cultural content, rather than being confined to the physical location.
