"Developing Saemangeum into the World's best city"

Prime minister, Han Seung-Soo gave a visit to Jeollabuk-do including the province office, Namwon, and Iksan at 4th March and announced clearly the government policy to develop Saemangeum into one of the world top class cities.
The prime minister revealed a plan to make Saemangeum one of the world best cities which is better than the one made by mixing Amsterdam, Venice, and Dubai, through close consultations with Jeollabuk-do, putting emphasis on a fact that "Saemangeum is equipped with better given circumstances than ones of Dubai known to create a myth out of waste and".
The prime minister could be understood to focus on branding a creative city to attract the world's attentions with outstanding ideas, because the old routine ways couldn't make a competitive power any more. Furthermore, "its design should be also emphasized to help Saemangeum appeared far superior even when the world's master cities, like Amsterdam, Venice, and Dubai, are mixed into one", added the minister.
The prime minister put emphasis on its strong competitive power again, saying "the general environment is better than Dubai which created a surprising myth out of waste land" and continuing, "to win our goal, we need to convert a routine way of thinking into new one".
The minister added "there are so many other tourist spots worth visiting, including places of Jeonju, Gunsan, and Namwon, besides Saemangeum" and "the gigantic sea wall should be developed in a way to help not only Saemangeum itself flourished, but also Jeollabuk-do and the whole nation economically advanced".
The prime minister attended a special seminar for government officials and explained about government background policies, including necessities to prepare something for climate change, green new-deal industry", and "low carbon & green growth".
Jeollabuk-do made proposals(▲providing industrial sites in a low price ▲ including Mangyeong & Dongjin rivers in the nation's four rivers project ▲ extending Gunsan airport to the international ▲ developing Saemangeum green forest) to the prime minister.
