Ministry of Saemangeum Gusan Free Economy Zone had been launched on 28th to manage and develop for SGFEZ.
Jeollabuk-do province had been held opening ceremony of SGFEZ with over 300 participants including governor Kim wanju , minister Lee yunho (Ministry of Knowledge Economy) the second vice-minister Jeong namjun(Ministry of Public administration and security) and the Member of national Assembly from Jeollabuk-do at grand conference hall in Jellabuk-do provincial building.

Governor Kim wanju said that "Saemanggeum and Gunsan is the next developing area as a economy free zone though, we can expect this area to be more potential possibility area than others". so we have to make this place to be a center of topnotch international tourist leisure as well as future new industry product home based on having investment area with attractive industry environment

Ministry of Saemangeum Gusan Free Economy Zone, consists of 2 headquarters, 5 departments, and 16 teams (73persons), can handle every single businesses such as development, building permit, and factory registration in economy zone.
Provincial government said that we have set up the MSGFEZ's temporary office at government building and civil application office at Gunsan city hall but plan to move the office to Gunsan when set up new office

SGFEZ is developed into future knowledge creative industry complex and international tourist complex with investing 5.3trillion won until 2020 on 4 areas including Saemangeum industry tourist zone, Gunjang national industry complex, Gogunsangundo zone, the back city zone for area of 66.968㎢.
If the Project make it possible, it will become a economical center of the Yellow sea and expect to cause 32trillion won product and to create employment about 220,000workers.Moreover, as Saemangeum inner -development project, they create a model of a very successful way of doing the project through the attractive foreign investment
