Plenty of Incentives for anybody to spread "the Best of Jeonbuk" to the world
upporting accommodation and actual experiencing charges for attracting foreign tourists
Jeollabukdo is going to provide travel agents which succeeded in attracting foreign tourists to Jeonbuk by developing new excellent sustainable tourism products, with astonishing incentives.
The strategy is designed with an extensive range of incentives and if more than six(6) of foreign tourists stay in Jeonbuk they will be supported 5,000 won to 50,000 for hotel charges with car rental charge 200,000 won to 250,000 and 5,000 won of individual culture experiencing support for 10 foreign tourists or more staying for more than one day, and furthermore if a travel agent releases Jeonbuk-stay tourism products to foreign countries by means of local papers, magazines, TV, and internet of the country the agent will be supported P.R. expenses (200,000 Yen for Japan, 13,000 Yuan for China, and 2,500 dollars for others).
The existing incentives limited only to accommodation charges are extended to a variety of supports, including car rental, culture experiencing, tourism product developing charges and its payment period is also improved from annual basis to quarter one, all efforts of which are aimed at relieve travel agents from burdens from high expenses system and the full-scaled support strategy of Jeonbuk is highly prospected to provide travel agents with motives for developing the better tourism goods and to stimulate for more agents to participate in this tourism incentive program in 2010, which is sure to be materialized into a mass of travelers visiting Jeonbuk.
In 2009 in spite of the severe economic stagnation and Swine Flu stricken over the world, Jeollabukdo succeeded in attracting 13,000 foreign visitors and supporting the travel industry with 920,000,000 won.
Jeollabukdo won't spare any effort in spreading the best of Jeonbuk to the world by focusing on improving tourist systems effectively through a variety of PR activities on on&off lines and by monitoring on travel agents supported with incentives and further, it will exert our utmost for reaching the goal of 2010, attracting more than 20,000 foreign tourists, through the incentive system.
