On the 28th, the Jeonbuk State Autonomous Police Commission conducted and announced the results of the '2024 Jeonbuk State Autonomous Police Inhabitant Survey'

 

According to the survey results, inhabitants identified the expansion of crime prevention facilities and the improvement of disorderly environments in their living areas as top priorities. A majority of respondents expressed the need for enhanced security measures, particularly emphasizing the demand for safe return routes for women and vulnerable groups, as well as increased patrols in high-risk areas.

 

In this survey, the interest in preventing school violence and protecting victims was also prominent. The commission is considering expanding programs to secure youth safety and prevent school violence.

 

Additionally, many respondents requested the preperation of safety equipment and the enforcement in child and senior protection zones to reduce traffic accidents and create a safer walking environment.

 

Accordingly, the Municipal Police Commission plans to intensively manage vulnerable areas within the region and expand traffic accident prevention campaigns. Based on the results of this survey, they will focus on developing policies that reflect the opinions of inhabitants.
