Jeonbuk State will establish and open an online platform to participate young people to receive proposals for youth-related policies and reflect the budget accordingly.

 

The 'Youth Participatory Budgeting Platform' is built within the 'Jeonbuk Communication Boulevard' website, which has been actively used as a window for residents to freely propose opinions and communicate, and it is expected that the synergy effect of youth participation in policies will be great.

 

The 'Youth Participatory Budgeting Platform' is a communication space for young people aged 18~39 and can be used after a simple youth certification process. Every young person can propose a policy, and he or she can express sympathy and opinions on the policies proposed by other young people.

 

 

The proposed policy will receive ‘sympathy’ from young people for 30 days, and proposals that receive more than 15 sympathy will be delivered to the relevant department along with additional opinions.

 

Afterwards, the relevant department reviews the feasibility of implementation, posts the results, and, if feasible, reflects it in the youth participation budget and promotes it as a policy.

 

In addition to the existing youth participation policies, Jeonbuk State expects to bring great vitality to the region, as the demand for more diverse youth policies is reflected in the provincial policies through the platform.
