Full-scale construction works for a luxury hotel aimed at attracting tourist or other visitors to Saemangeum and Byeonsan beach area were begun after holding its ground-breaking ceremony. Jeonbuk Development Corporation(Yu Yong-Ha/Head of corporation) held a ground-breaking ceremony with 300 people, including local politicians and residents, attending on 2nd April at Buan Mohang beach.
The hotel(;one underground & ten stories) will be built in a scale of 1.7 times bigger(3,700 p'yong) than soccer play stadium on a land at 203-6, Docheong-ri, Byeonsan-myeon, Buan-gun.
The hotel will be equipped with 112 guest rooms by investing 24 billions won.
Further, it is going to be provided with a variety of subsidiary facilities such as a grand banquet hall, restaurant, swimming pool, sauna parlor, and convenient store and it is anticipated to open on November 2011.

Jeonbuk Development Corporation made a sign on a MOU for construction of Mohang beach hotel with Buan-gun on April, 2008 and further for a working level proceedings, Eld Construction and Gil Construction were nominated as a main constructor and a planner respectively to form a consortium at the last September.
The consortium received a construction approval in the middle of last month and started it.
