On 17th, Jeonbuk State celebrated its first anniversary with a commemorative ceremony held at Moak Hall in Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do.

 

Jeollabuk State has been making great efforts to prepare for the implementation of the special case by expanding the number of articles in 「the Jeonbuk Special Act」 from 28 to 131, finalizing them into 75 commercialization tasks, setting the direction of implementation, and establishing the basic concept and basic and implementation design.

 

Through this, five core industries will be fostered based on the three pillars of infrastructure, manpower, and institutions: ▲ agriculture and life, ▲ cultural tourism, ▲ senior-friendly, ▲ future high-tech, and ▲ folk livelihood specialized industries.

 

In addition, the government plans to actively foster future high-tech industries such as renewable energy, bio-convergence industry promotion, hydrogen secondary battery industry development, and AI-based financial industry promotion to make them future cities.

 

"I pledge my consistent determination to create a new Jeonbuk that succeeds without losing the original intention of challenge and innovation," said Kim Kwan-young, governor of Jeonbuk State. "The way of Jeonbuk will be the way for the Republic of Korea."
