On the 20th, Jeonbuk State announced a "Special Measures to Revitalize the Livelihood Economy in Response to Emergency Situations," reflecting the voices of local residents at the site.

 

First, in order to help small and medium-sized businesses suffering from difficulties such as a decrease in sales and financial difficulties, a total of 14 projects worth KRW 164.3 billion will be implemented.

 

Of the planned support amount, 45%, or 73.3 billion won, will be expedited by March 2025, and a supplementary budget will be implemented early with the government's fiscal cycle.

 

Jeonbuk State will promote support for overcoming management crises through measures such as ▲ the issuance of local love gift certificates,

▲ the provision of card transaction fee support for small and micro businesses etc.

Jeollabuk-do will also support management safety nets such as ▲ special guarantee for rehabilitation of small business owners, ▲ special guarantee for low-credit and low-income self-employed people, ▲ special guarantee for low birthrate response financial support for small businesses, ▲ secondary compensation for small business support funds, ▲ support for closing small businesses, ▲ social insurance premium support for self-employed people ▲ support for joining the yellow umbrella deduction etc.

 

Second, in order to ease the difficulties of people's livelihoods suffering from inflation, Jeonbuk State will organize and operate ‘the Province-City /County Joint Price Stabilization Task Force’

 

Jeonbuk State will maintain a constant monitoring system centering on the general situation room for price countermeasures, defer and distribute the plan to raise local public utility charges at the beginning of the year in cooperation with the city and county, and push for a reduction policy for vulnerable people and small business owners as much as possible.

 

Third, Jeonbuk State will push for 14.8 billion won in 12 projects to promote consumption that will warm up the local economy, which has shrunk in the wake of the impeachment regime ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays.

 

As a project, Jeonbuk State will push up with ▲ expansion of support for good price businesses ▲ support of traditional market revitalization zone and facility modernization project ▲reinforcement of traditional market promotion ▲ online platform sales support for small businesses etc.

 

Fourth, Jeonbuk State will invest 116.8 billion won in 20 projects to resolve the financial difficulties of local companies and provide relief to export companies.

 

The projects include ▲ funding for small and medium-sized enterprises ▲ subsidies to promote regional investment ▲ special guarantees for startups and social economy enterprises ▲community job support programs etc.

 

Fifth, Jeonbuk State will actively prepare the foothold and support the construction industry in order to secure order volume in the difficult construction industry.

 

It includes ▲ rapid order placement of 70% of public construction projects in the province within the first half of the year ▲ active use of incentive payment system for utilizing local companies ▲ establishment of system for preferential treatment of local companies (Jeonbuk Special Act on contracts, Saemangeum Project Act Enforcement Decree preferential treatment of local companies) ▲ close order support through joint sales ▲ promoting business agreements for utilizing local companies for new large-scale construction projects in the province etc.
