Jeonbuk State Submits an Application to Host the 2036 Summer Olympics

On the 12th, Jeonbuk State officially submitted an application for the 2036 Summer Olympics to the Korean Sports & Olympic Committee.
In this application, ▲ emphasizing that it is the first step in the balanced development of the country, ▲ the vitality of Jeonbuk State with its long tradition and cultural heritage to leap forward as a world center ▲ the ability to successfully host the Asia-Pacific Masters Games, an international sports event that is also a recommendation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and ▲ the resources of various facilities that can achieve high efficiency at the low cost were put forward as the justification for attracting the bid.
According to a survey by the Jeonbuk Research Institute, the estimated economic inducement effect of hosting the 36th Olympiad Games is about 42 trillion won.
The activation of various service industries in the district, along with the expansion of construction and infrastructure, is expected to have significant economic ripple effects throughout the district.
After the tournament, Jeonbuk will be an asset to increase competitiveness, and the development of infrastructure following the tournament will not only make Jeonbuk grow during the Olympics, but also provide a foothold to grow more into a city that has successfully hosted large international sports.
