Jeonbuk State will invest 100 billion won in funds such as the construction of public postpartum care centers in anticipation of the population decline crisis

Jeonbuk State announced that it will invest a total of 101.9 billion won in the '2025 Local Extinction Response Fund Project', which invests in areas with a decrease in population (interest) in order to effectively respond to population decline and increase regional vitality.
In 2025, the focus areas pushed by Jeonbuk State are 14 projects with three strategies.
The first of the three strategic areas is pregnancy, childbirth and life infrastructure construction. Jeonbuk State plans to invest KRW 11.6 billion to promote the establishment of a public postpartum nursing center and Moa Complex Center to eliminate the medical blind spot in the area of the province, and to improve the maternity environment of provincial inhabitants.
The second is to create jobs and create conditions for stay. The province plans to invest 4.3 billion won to create an environment where local youth can settle down through various projects such as the creation of a base space for training special professionals, the creation of a family stay-type residential facility for rural study abroad, and a smart farm package for youth entrepreneurship.
The third is the level betterment of education and social services. eonbuk State will invest 3.4 billion won to promote projects such as creating a Jeonbuk -type youth village and creating regional vitality towns. In particular, the regional vitality town project plans to build a complex that integrates residential and living infrastructure so that retirees and youths can settle in connection with the three groups (Namwon -si, Gimje -si, and Buan -gun).
