Jeonbuk State is stepping up its efforts to recruit applicants for the '2026 Young Farmers' Farming Settlement Support Program' to provide a foundation for young farmers to conduct farming without difficulty. Applicants can apply online for the farming settlement support through the Agriculture and Forestry Project Information System (uni.agrix.go.kr). The application period is from November 5 to December 11, 2025.

 

A total of 2,000 applicants will be selected in the first round nationwide. Eligibility requirements include:

▲ Age: 18 to under 40 (born 1985–2008) ▲ Experience: 3 years or less of independent farming experience ▲ Income: Household income (based on Health Insurance premiums) must be 140% or less of the standard median income.

 

Selected young farmers will receive a Farming Settlement Support Fund of up to 1.1 million KRW per month for a maximum period of three years.

They will also receive various linked support benefits, which include:

successor farmer funds for purchasing, constructing, or leasing farmland and facilities, priority support for leasing through the Farmland Bank, and preferential credit guarantee from the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Credit Guarantee Fund.

 

This year, 410 young farmers currently residing in Jeonbuk State are selected for settlement support. After a document review and an interview assessment, the final list of eligible applicants will be confirmed in January 2026.
