Jeonbuk State is officially launches efforts to build a new industry ecosystem through the transition to artificial intelligence (AI) and data-based industries.

Jeonbuk State is preparing to launch a committee by enacting ordinances to revitalise the AI and data industry. In collaboration with the Jeonbuk Research Institute, it plans to establish a comprehensive promotion strategy by the second half of 2025 through the ｢Jeonbuk AI Industry Development Direction Research.｣

The agricultural and life sciences sector will push up with a total of 180 billion won worth of 'AI-based agricultural and life sciences three major projects' by 2028.

 

The mobility sector is currently undertaking a regional autonomous digital innovation project to establish a collaborative intelligence physical AI strategy through the development and demonstration of core physical AI technologies for future mobility manufacturing processes, and to support the resolution of manufacturing process challenges faced by secondary battery companies using AI technology.

Jeonbuk State is currently conducting IT talent training courses for all residents, including students, working professionals, and the general public. In the second half of this year, it will launch a digital executive professional education program aimed at individuals seeking IT employment as a new business.
