Jeonbuk State Starts to Recruit Objects for Regional-specific Visa Project
Jeonbuk State pushes up with ‘Regional-specific Visa Project’ to recruit foreign excellent human resources.
In order to promote regional-specific visa projects, Jeonbuk State will carry out a policy to guide foreigners and foreign compatriots with certain qualifications to settling in population-reduced areas by easing the conditions for issuing visas to respond to the ongoing population decline crisis..
* Regional excellent human resource type quota 703 persons: Jeongeup 76, Namwon 34, Gimje 270, Jinan 16, Muju 15, Jangsu 43, Imsil 57, Sunchang 27, Gochang 38, Buan 127
The objects are classified with types of excellent district human resources and types of overseas compatriots. The types of excellent district human resources are foreigners who have met the requirements such as living in a small population area, employment in permitted industries by region, acquairing a degree (or a certain income), and mastering in Korean, and have been recommended by the Governor of Jeonbuk State.
Overseas compatriots are compatriot foreigners who wish to move together in order to live in a population-reduced district for longer than 2 years and who are foreign nationals recommended by the Governor of Jeonbuk State.
Those who want to apply should visit the city and county department and the Jeonbuk State Economic and Trade Promotion Agency Job Center, and hand in documents to give proof of their academic career, residence, economic activities, and Korean proficiency.
If the foreigner receives a recommendation letter through the screening process of Jeonbuk State, the foreigner can apply for a change of residence status to a resident visa (F-2-R/F-4-R) at the Jeonju Immigration Office
