Kim Kwan-young Governor of Jeollabuk -do and Han Dong-hoon Minister of Justice Enter into a Business Agreement for 「Foreigner and Immigration Policy Testbed」
After Han Dong-hoon Minister of Justice was appointed, Jeollabuk-do constructed cooperation between the central government and local government for the first time concerning foreigner and immigration Policy.
In the course of Kim governor's recommendation to the department of the special example concerning the use of Jeonbuk special self-governing province as a testbed of new immigration policy, Han Dong-hoon Minister of Justice agreed with him, and it was achieved by proposing an agreement to Jeonbuk to strengthen cooperation between the central and local governments.
In the meantime, Jeonbuk Province received high praise for leading the direction of the new immigration policy pursued by the Ministry of Justice, such as securing the largest number of people (400 people) in the country in the "Regional Specialized Visa Pilot Project" and conducting the first satisfaction survey of local governments.
▶Local specialized visa: D-2 (overseas study), D-10 (job hunt), E-9 (non-professional employment), E-7 (skillful technician manpower) → F-2-R (local specialized resident visa)
- Under the condition of employment or residence at a depopulated area within a certain period, the existing 'overseas study, job hunt, and short-term labour visa' is issued first as a 'residence visa' that allows five years of long-term residence and allows spouses and children to reside together
