Jeollabuk-do, over 30 persons in charge of city and country departments, held a " Working-level Meeting concerned on Skillful Technician Manpower and Regional Specialized Visas in Cities and Counties of the Province" related to foreigner labour business kinds (manufacturing, rooting, shipbuilding, fisheries, and construction).
At the meeting, Jeollabuk-do explained the main contents of the 「K-point E74 Plan for Innovative Expansion of Skillful Technician Manpower」 and the policy to recruit skillful foreigner technician manpower (E-7-4) such as the active use of the newly established "Head of a Metropolitan Local Government's Recommendation System" and asked business owners and workers to actively promote them.
** Skillful manpower recommendation system by the head of local government: non-professional employment manpower (E-9/4 years 10 months short-term/ no family taken) → change to skillful technician manpower E-7-4/5 years/no stay upper limit/family taken), five-kind business scoring system
- 30 points added by head of local government's recommendation, 20 points added for county dweller in a depopulated area
