Jeonbuk's talents go for the world and future   

                         
Cultivation of global human resources to lead future developments of Jeonbuk
A number of scholarship students to go abroad for this year is 665.  
A scholarship awards ceremony for the students was held at p.m. 10 July and a grand hall of Jeonbuk Provincial Office.
The ceremony organized by Jeollabukdo and the Jeollabukdo human resources cultivation foundation was attended by about 1,100 people, including heads of many organizations and groups, diplomatic corps from Canada, and concerned students and parents.  The 4th global experience overseas program for this year arranged eight weeks of summer & winter semesters for 621 elementary and middle school students.   
Designated countries are Canada(Delta area, BC state), Australia(Sidney area, NSW state), New zealand(Aukland Christchurch), and China(Jinagsu, Nanjing) and the students will take intensive language courses and regular lessons of local primary and middle schools to cultivate a global mind.   
Especially for this year, 16 students of technical high schools also joined the program.
They are scheduled to participate in language and internship programs ensuring local job opportunities to establish identities at Australia(Sydney area, NSW state) for 12 weeks.
Further, 28 college students are also going to fly to seven countries such as U.S.A., Canada, and England around the end of this month. 
They are supposed to go through the training program which requires for participants to conduct missions, concerned with local developments, from global views as well as to carry out the regular curriculum of the program which is offered to students in a tailor-made way.
The students and parents who participated in the orientation for two days after finishing the scholarship awards ceremony seem to take a serious attitude coming from challenge and hope for the new world.
They had a meaningful time to engrave a determination for playing a goodwill ambassador and developing themselves as global talents in their mind as well as having a pride for a student to join the global training project.
The global experience training project which started in 2007 is aimed at helping students in Jeonbuk improve competitive power in the international society and preparing a platform on which cultivating local human resources who is capable of developing a new growth factor for Jeollabukdo in 21st Century.     
The project has been supported 3.4 billions won annually until this year and it has offered a great opportunity for 2,400 primary, middle, and high school students to enjoy the wonderful program, and the unique program of Jeonbuk has become a role model for global human talents cultivating program. 
Parents look forward to seeing their children growing up with a big dream to be a global talent who is capable of developing a new growth factor for the future of Jeonbuk.
Further, parents think a main factor in the limitless competitive world of 21st Century is human resources and thus best human talents are the future growth engine to produce best values and they hope their boys and girls will set a grand goal and make effort for reaching it and finally become a right person for promoting Jeonbuk's pride through this overseas study program.
